Since relocating my battery. I have the whining noise coming from my speakers and static on my TV when I turn the engine on. I have tried using a new ground and grounding directly to the battery. still wont go away. What do I do?

Did you move a power cable near a signal cable?

well, if you can't figure it out, best thing to do is undo what caused it.

I cant undo friend. I relocated my battery to make room for my CAI.

what do you drive? usually installing an intake doesn't require you to relocate the battery.
Anyhow, since you've tried using different grounding points? Have you tried using the same grounding point for your battery and amp? It sounds like you have a ground loop problem. Easiest way to fix it is either get a ground distro block or attempt to ground everything to the same spot.

I tried grounding the head unit and dvd player to same and different points. I tried grounding both directly to the battery. Could it be a lousy amp ground back feading? I havent touched that ground yet?
I drive an 88 prelude Si. My previous CAI was short and sucked up hot engine air. I custom bent it to get clen air from the front.

The amp was the only thing I was thinking of actually.

How do you have your battery setup? Like what guage wire are you using, how do you have the power and ground routed, did you upgrade the Big 3 while doing this. Do you have the power cable going to anything else besides the starter and ecu? Any details you can throw out that might help someone come up with a solution to your problem.
