Ok, I just need to know. How good is the Alpine cda-7893 unit? Also, if the head unit can't read some CD-R's but it can read some but reads all actual CD's, could this be a problem in the future? Will it eventually not read anything? Thanks.

Well that obvious, sooner or later it will go out of date anyways. It depends on what type of person you are and how you listen to your music. If your the guy that goes to the store to buy all your cds, than itll be a great buy for you, But if your like a hack master and download everysingle song off your computer, i suggest you get a hu that will read all cd-r's and cd-rw's. Peace.
