93 screwy trany

I have a 93 Intrpid with the 3.3L . Only thing done in my possetion was front brake change. Recently I have had problems in drive. It takes a while maybe 2 or 3 seconds to kick in after the shifter is engaged. Also have a problem with hard downshifting. Sometimes coming up hills it will downshift into second and wont come back out unless i stop, shut it off and restart it. Any suggestions?

sounds like your trans is getting tired and may need refreshing new internal seals torque coverter your trans fluid is at specs i'm assuming???????
