Stereos

Hey, what kind of stereo setups (other than stock) do you all have. How much did it all cost, and what do you think of it? Worth the $$ or not? (Ex: an Alpine Headunit, 500 watt Bazooka Amp, 12" Infinity Kappa Perfect, and it sounds good, very satisfied). No i dont have that...haha, im running stock right now, but thinking about upgrading.

the Panasonic MXE CQ-C8400U Head Unit...i love it. cost me $350. installed it myself. mp3 player comes in handy cause i drive an hour and 15 mins everyday to work

Just out of curiosity, what is that red button next to you steering wheel hooked up to? My eclipse doesnt have one so im figuring it was an aftermarket part.

Ive got a Kenwood KDC-X979 Head unit, Kicker 12" L7, Kenwood KAC-X811D Amp for the Kicker, Kicker Midrange, and Kenwood KAC-X541 amp for the midrange. About 2,000 peak watts for the whole system. Installed it all myself. The only thing I bought full price were the speakers so I could get the good waranty from Kicker. About $500 for the speakers, 75 for the sub box, about 500 for the Head Unit, and about 1000 for the amps. thats...about 2 grand for a bumpin system. It sounds absolutely flawless...to me it was well worth the money.

I got the Pioneer 7600, Bazooka 800 watt amp, and two 12' Kickers. I had a buddy of mine that work at a stereo place and I got everything for $800 dollars even...Had it for about a year now and no problems

2000 black gt......i have one JL audio 15" sub being pushed by a 1200 watt legacy amp.. Its craseh...i also got XM radio and i have it where i can tune the radio to play my ipod mini, which of course means endless amounts of my favorite tracks!!! get a 15 they have a wider range and hit like a god
