I Was Wandering What Mopar Men Thought The Value Of A 69 Road Runner That I'm Nearing Completion On Is Worth, I Didn't Restore The Car To Stock Condition, I Pro Streeted The Car, With A Pro Built 440, Race Tranny, row Bars Different Dash, And A Street Rod Interior. I Have 40 Thousand In Receipts Not Counting Labor. She's Straight With Corvette Yellow Paint And Black Stripes On The Hood. Just About Everything Is New Including New Disc Brakes.391 Gears, Strange Axles, Body Back Halved By A Professional , New Floors, New Front Fenders, New Grille, New Headlight Bezels, new Quarters.new Seats , Intertior, Plus Much More To Much To List. I'm New To This Site But Not New To Mopar , When I Get Her Finished I Will Be Sure To Put Some Pictures On This Site If My Son Will Help. With The Prices Barret Jackson Is Bringing These Days , Maybe Someday I Can Get My Money Out I'm Hoping. Just Like To Hear Opinions Or Maybe I'm Dreaming Or Hoping.

well the thing is with barret jackson they are mainly looking for rebuilt cars to specks. and i dont know alot of people that will buy a car that cant be driven on the streets. so who ever would buy the car would want it for racing or to spend more money to put it back to original. honestly i wouldnt look at your car to buy it.

INSPECTED , WELL IT WILL BE IT ABOUT TWO MONTHS. BASICALLY MY QUESTION WAS BECAUSE I DIDN'T RESTORE TO ORIGINAL DID I RUIN MY CHANCES OF RECOVERY OF MY MONEY? MY ORGINAL THOUGHTS WERE TO PLAY WITH THIS CAR FOR A WHILE THAN TRY TO SELL!! BUT THANKS FOR THE IMPUT!!

sir i wasnt trying to be a jerk or anything. from what you were saying it didnt sound like it would be streetable. my mistake. but in mass, like some know, it has to look stock or you could get fined. of course not all cops will pull you over for it not looking or sounding stock. i know ive been there for a 2 1/4 exhaust. what i was trying to say is you will probaly have to find the right buyer for the car. but if i were to buy the car i would probaly pay mid to high twenties. due to the fact of what you have in the car. im not saying that im a pureist. im about to drop a 440 in my 71 coronet, 318 granny car. im just saying for someone who is the might look over your car for it not being stock. evry thing else aside, if you dont mind, id like to see a picture of the car, if you have one. i didnt mean to offend you. if i did i appologize.

Hopefully you can drive that bullet a while and enjoy her. There is a good market for restored cars but there is also a market for tasteful customs. That market is a litle more difficult as your choices of color, style etc may not be ever buyers choice. I am not sure if you will get your money out but Mopars are hot now, no you picked a good start.
I would love to see a pic. I have a 1968 Road Runner that I am building to pro touring, drag specs.
