Inductive timing pickup...

Quickly...

I'm outside, wondering why I'm leaking oil from my distributor.

Decided today to replace plugs, wires, cap rotor etc, and distributor is loose. I bought a timing light, and I know my 92 rodeo needs to be set at 10BTDC.

However, I can't read the numbers on the indicator, even after scrubbing with everything known to man.

Can anyone give me some idea where 10 degrees is? (Top, bottom etc).

The indicator is riveted on the front cover and I really don't feel like ripping it off just to fix timing.

Tks all.

Steve
