lowered 2000 durango

I have a question about a 2000 durango i just bought it has a lowering kit 3 inch on it is that stock from the factory or aftermarket? I went to auto zone to price shocks and their computer asked if it was lowered 2 in. or 3in. It has the 5.9 but not an RT. Thanks
