Help Programming Remote for '96 Astro

I need a little help here... Dad is really in the doghouse right now as he lost MOM'S keyless entry remote for their van. I found a replacement remote cheap enough on ebay, but now I need to program it to work with their van. Does anyone have the programming instructions for a '96 Astro? My dad would be ever so grateful!!!
