Hi,
Started Fujimi's Gallardo from this weekend.
basically body mold is fine, engine bay looks just same as Murcie.
front/rear meshes are clear parts, also like Murcie. interior and wheels looks fine.
but I'll put 5 spoke 19" wheel on it.
Filled front license plate holes and fixed few thined plastic areas.
refined some body shapes and added panel lines.

refined seats.

Painted interior blue/dark blue/flat black.
used Sakatsu's shifter parts.

Do the original wheels really work out great on the chassis or do you have to make adjustmenst as rallyraider needed to make on his murcie? Just wondering! Apart from that... exceptional work, once again!

I'm always using 'Mr.surfacer 1000' for primer.

I don't assemble chassis and suspension section yet, but figure out soon.

From the pic shown above, the manual gear version has all the necessary parts for the egar version, but not the glass engine compartment version.
Awesome built, cant wait to see more progress pics.

No problem, Frank. Oh the paddles are already available from the "manual gear" version kit. The paddles are attached to the steering wheel housing.

That's the color I'm going to paint mine as well, Rosso Metis. If you're using Testors, Honduras Maroon is a nearly identical match...if it matches an original color chip that I have....since I'm going to paint a GM car that should be Honduras Maroon in Rosso Metis (hey, you can paint three cars w/one bottle of Cobra Colors!).

^ maybe the owner does a lot of handbrakies?
does this kit have a driveshaft for the front wheels?, i see one for the back, but not the front, and as far as i know Gallardo's are 4WD.

Yes, there is a front driveshaft in the kit-I was working on my Gallardo's suspension last night.

Yes, they're stock and very nice. I painted my calipers yellow w/black Lamborghini emblems. (I'm not posting progress, I'll take pics when it's done, except for custom rims it's very similar to Kunta's except for colors).
It's a better kit than most other Fujimis, everything on the chassis/interior has seemingly fit perfect.
One reason the wheels seem to fit precisely is the suspension is simplified, I didn't realize until after it was all together that there are no springs or shocks to deal with, only the upper/lower A arms, hubs, brakes, and rims. The axles are part of the lower engine piece which is well engraved.
The Mini Cooper S is also much better than standard Fujimi fare. Maybe they're listening? :icon16:
