ok after consideration i decided to stick with my sohc d16y5 instead of the crvtec swap. but now i need to know where to go from where i am. im shooting for about the 300-350 hp range then go further from there because more is always better. right now im just in the parts collecting stage im gonna collect most of the parts then put all of them on, then collect more and put hose on and so on. right now ive got a t3 turbo and evrything for instal minus the tubing which im looking into right now i also want to get a fmic to go with it. i have a full pacesetter exhaust that is on the car that is likly to be changed out at some point down the road cause i hear the rust out so far so goo though no sign of rust. i have a zex dry setup, aem pully kit including the crank pulley. i have a set of gsx injectors, with an aem fuel rail and fuel pressure regualtor, an obx throttle body spacer and im looking into a throttle body now also a new fuel pump. im also looking into engine management cause i know ill need it. i also just picked upa used msd ignition. i dont know where to go form here for the best gains, i know a camshaft is probably a good idea but dont know what kind to go with maybe zex? any tips would be great. im not worried about theprice really cause i can always save till i have enough. ive been collecting these parts for about 2 months now and im getting anxious but i really want to do it all right.

If you're looking for 300-350+ hp, then you should consider swapping out the motor. Not that it can't be done on a d-series, but it will be a lot easier with a more powerful engine. Even an LS motor would be better to get those goals. But no matter what, for that kind of power you're going to have to rebuild the engine.

You also might want to sell that T3 and get a T3/T4 hybrid. :2cents:

go dual cam...even with head work on a d series...it wont be as good as a b series

how much of a difference will a new intake manifold make? also where can i find new internals to replace my stock transmission internals?

new intake manifold is a pretty good diffrence, i choose the skunk2, but without a decent cam, and nice exhaust...a intake manifold is useless, whats wrong with your current tranny?

my transmission works ok its just getting kinda sloppy now, sometimes it comes out of gear and the clutch pedal jsut dosnt seem to be like it should. i drove my freinds ex and his clutch felt alot nicer than mine. i reaplaced the clutch jsut afew months ago, just a cheesy oem one though im sure that has alot to do with it. and i just replaced the shifter bushing to some urethane ones i got from summit and it hasa short shifter. i just want somthing thats gonna be more for getting up to speed quick. my friend had his trans done with performance internals and he said it madea huge difference, his cars not a honda though.
