ok here's the deal i install a remote car starter disconnected my battery but now my freaken radio is lock they say they have the code but i have to pay for them to unlock it and even if i pay them they wonttell me the code do some of you know how its a jetta 1991 radio

If you don't have the owner's manual with the code then you're stuck unless someone happened to write the four digit code on the radio itself. You need the serial # off the radio & the car's VIN for the dealer to get the code for you. They all seem to be charging about $30 just to look it up.
