evo8 16g in a 1g

A friend of a friend is upgrading his evo 8 manifold turbo and intercooler amoungst other things but he's willing to sell me the fmic and the turbo cheap. I know i'd have to run coolant lines not a problem but what about manifolds and the ups and downs with such a set up. With the engine and car tore down as it is, I'm pretty open to try anything. The evo8 turbo will NOT work on our cars (it has a reverse twin-scroll turbine side). The manifold won't do any good either as it is also made just for a twin-scroll turbine side. The front mout could possibly work, but I'm not sure if it'd be worth it.
