LT1 guys, i need ur help...

puttin my engine back together right now... and i've run into a problem, i've mounted this sensor thingy (i truly don't know what it is) and i can't figure out what these two vaccum ends are supposed to hook up to, i was wondering if u guys could take a look under ur hoods and give me some help... i got pics of what i'm talking about

some sort of sensor thing or whatever, on the front left of the plenum, really need to figure out where these vaccum ends are supposed to go... if u guys need different angles on it then tell me and i can get more pics... thanks ahead of time

According to my 96 SS the hose facing the front of the car goes around the front under the intake elbow and hooks into the gas lines. I think it has to do with the ash can and the emmissions. And the hose that is coming out of the bottom is not hooked up on my car either. And the hose that turns and points towards the wirewall goes to that other sensor with the red plug. I looked at our 97 Z and it is the same. We put a LT1 into a 67 El Camino and i'm sure that we didn't hook any of those tubes up.

its pouring down right now, but I'll be under my hood allday tomorrow. If you havent figured it out by then, I'll take a look at mine and try to help.

thx for the help guys, figured out that the front one goes to the EVAP cannister, which is next to the gas tank on a fourth gen, but i'm gonna hook it up to the third gen evap which is on the driver's side front of a third gen. the other lower one is just a vent and doesn't hook up to anything. also learned that this assembly is different on the '96-'97 compared to '93-'95. thanks again for the help guys
