Well I was just curious if anyone knew of any good sites that explains how to take an engine apart and assemble it properly. Or if anyone had any tips on either of those it would be helpful.

There are a multitude of books out there. A site? Who knows... I would go to a real book store and get the book that applies to the engine you are working on. Not EVERYTHING can be found on websites...

Amen MrPbody. I used a "How to rebuild a small block ford" book for my first engine rebuild and it was invaluable. It gives all the info one would need to do a quality rebuild. It takes you through the process step by step and sure beats hell out of having to look on the internet constantly. It didnt get much into high performance rebuilds so for that I used the internet for ideas and called Summit techs and what not. The book was a steal at around $15. Definately invest in one when doing a rebuild. Good luck. Steve
