97 regal serious electrical!!!

I have a 1997 regal electrical issue. The cluster displayed an airbag light for some time before the car stopped running. Now the car will start and run, but only if the headlights are on (during the day with the switch pulled, at night headlights on automatic), and if I activate a turn signal it kills the engine. While the car is running, the airbag light is on, but no service engine light.

Your alternator is about to die.
The electrical accessories (airbags, turn signals, headlights, ABS, ECM, etc.) are pulling too many amperages for both the alternator and battery to handle. With alternator failure, the battery does not receive sufficient charge and must use all of its power to feed the components. This will eventually lead to battery drainage.
It is also possible that there is a short circuit in the electrical system. Check your fuses, wires, and circuit breakers for damage.
