P0446 - 1998 Lumina LTZ

Hi All,
I have a 1998 Lumina LTZ (3.8) with 100,000 on it. My check engine Soon light came on and I pulled the code and got a P0446 - Emission Control Circuit. I cleared the code with a scan tool and the light came back on. I checked the pressure in the gas cap and that's fine. Does anyone know what the likely culprit is (Valve, Canister, Leak, ECU)? I tried looking for the canister and could not find it so I need help with location of things as well. I bought this car new in 98 and never had any issue with it so I'm not to familiar with the layout of the emission system.
