Hi I have seen other posts on this and I did the check engie light 12 & 55 codes show.
I replaced the coil pack. When i tested the spark there was none as the engine was cranking with full battery power but as I kept trying the battery started to get weaker and I started to get a spark but it was not strong.
As I kept cranking the spark seemed to get stronger as the battery got weaker and it sounded as if the engine was trying to fire any ideas as to what I should check next? Has anyone ever heard of this problem? I am lost and any help would be appreciated.

If you got spark (even a weak one), see if you are getting gas. Your fuel pump may have quit due to a fuse, relay, etc. If it tries to start when starter fluid is put in the air intake (you can also remove a plug and put some gas in) the problem would be its getting no gas.

yes I am getting gas I can hear the pump energize and smell the gas while cranking. The problem seems to just be no spark if maybe its a relay or sensor but everything else seems ok.

Does your fuel pump work while cranking if it does that means cam & crank sensors are good and my experience with this particular model and year and engine is check wiring at trans dipstick tube for shorting and if good usually faulty pcm.not dwelling the coil
