Goofy topic, but how do you avoid it.. is there a preferred haircut or do you just plan on wearing a hat when not on the bike?
Yes, I'm probably going to ask the oddest questions possible, but they're all genuine and sincere. :)

LOL.. yeah, I keep a hat under my spidernet...
*chuckle* I don't think I'd wear product under the helmet. A: it'd be gone by the time I took the helmet off and B: sticky stinky helmet...
I got drunk at work one night (I'm a club dj) and came home motivated for something stupid and shaved my head... yeah.. I won't do THAT again...
Maybe I'll just go for that... tapered... cut. (how do you know I'm white?) ;)

I find that if I let my hair settle down about an hour before I ride, I don't have to much of a problem when the helmet comes off.

Expect to wear a hat. That, or just don't worry about it. Wear it with pride... At least you are WEARING a helmet instead of going "commando". As for me, I don't even try to hide the helmet hair anymore.

Get a mullet, or otherwise known as the Kentucky mudflap.

LOL.. nice :)
I went to the "Extreme Indoor Ice Racing" this weekend here in central Ky. I have to say, one of the largest indoor collection of mullets known this side of the mason dixon.

i dont really have a problem with my hair... then again i dont really fix it in the morrining anyway. just run my hand through it a few times to get it going the right direction... lol... so its easy to fix when i take off the lid.

Have a hat or a do-rag handy, because there is no way around it if your hair has any length.

nah, I keep mine pretty short...
BUT.. LOL... I LOST my damned hat last night. I had it tucked under the spider net on the passenger's hump.. when I got to my buddy's house, it was gone... Oh well.. stupid EX500 and no 'under seat storage' ;)

Maybe your net isn't tight enough on the seat. I once lost my rain gear in the middle of the interstate b/c my net had become loose. Make sure that net is TIGHT... if it comes off in the wrong way, it could end up bouncing off your chain (which would end up in disaster, which I ALMOST learned the hard way). Your hat should NOT have fallen off if the net is secured properly. That is all. :p

the net's just worn out, it came with the bike.. the tiedowns are snug but the center is stretched from holding a spare helmet.
