Today my car was running fine. I went to work, then to my friends house. When i tryed to leave, it wouldnt start. All of the lights turned off when i turned the key. When the key is in the ignition, but not in the start (or whatever it is) posision the dome light and cd player can turn on. We tryed to jump it to see if it would help any. All it did was let the lights stay on when I tryed to start it, and a selunoid next to the battery was clicking. The only thing that I can think of that would do that is when I looked at everything, the wire for my sub was just sitting there. I checked all the fuses, and they were all fine. But i dont know how it would have come off with out being pulled. I did pull on it a little bit to get to the fuse, but thats it, then i noticed it. If any one has any input, that would be nice(like what could be F-ed up, and/or why it might have done this) Thanx-fmf

Check your chassis ground. I have seen them get corroded and make a car act like what you have descibed.

find a fresh battery and stick it in your car, then try to start it. if it starts, go buy an optima, last battery you'll ever buy =)
