That breaks my previous record of 327miles per tank.

What engine do you have? Either way, that is pretty darn good! 15 gallon tank?

Damn, I'm jelious! I'd love to break 200 miles to a tank.

That was my gas guzzling V8 with the stock 15.75 gallon tank.
I put in 14.455 gallons when I refilled. I filled up before I went on my trip.
So that's about 23~24 miles per gallon on the freeway. Not bad for 2003 Mustang GT.

Yeah, mine's pretty throttle-input dependent. I saw over 350 miles on a tank when it was near stock (nothin' but exhaust and a K&N), but can see as little as 150 miles to a tank....

No, that's for my 2003 Mustang GT with the 4.6L V8 and 3:55 gears installed, and that was all interstate and highway.

I normally hit about 320 miles per tank with 90% freeway.
As far as being stock.......
I have
03 Cobra IRS with 3:55's
Griggs Racing coil overs
Spec Billit Aluminum Flywheel
SPec Stage 3 Clutch with the lightened pressure plate
Accufab throttle body and upper plenum
Magnapack 03 Cobra Catback Exhaust.
and several other things.

Ahh, why an IRS swap? Most cobra guys end up swapping for a solid axle.

Because his car is obviously not built for Quarter mile, it's a corner carver. A quarter miler would not use the aluminum flywheel or the lightened pressure plate either, we need the extra weight too keep from bogging on slicks...
Mine went down the most with the addition of 30 lb'ers and the cam, but I'm hoping to smooth some of that out with my TwEECer.

As SVTcobra306 said, my car is not built for the quater mile. I perfer corner carving, so everything that I am doing is based on getting my car thru the corners faster. The other benifit, is that the ride is alot better over all because with the IRS, I don't have the back end of my car bouncing around with every little imperfection on the road. The only way to solve that with the 8.8inch is to go with a Torque arm and a Panhardbar or Watts link setup.
The IRS is also about 44lbs heavier than the 8.8inch. But your getting Cobra R rear brakes. I also swapped to coil overs which also dumped alot of weight from the IRS, mostly because them springs are pretty heavy. I also installed the Motive Gear AX 3:55's which was 1.7lbs lighter than the Ford Racing 3:55's. My next step is to install the The Level 5 IRS Fix (http://www.driveshaftshop.com/MUSTANGC.V..ivnu) upgrade from The Drive Shaft Shop (http://www.driveshaftshop.com). It will allow the IRS to handle 900hp with slicks, not that I will use slicks. Then will come the Kenny Brown (http://www.kennybrown.com) upper and lower control arms.
Hopefully with those changes, my rear end will be complete. So I will basically just have the chassis and engine to worry about.

Oops, I totally ignored the other mods. I just saw IRS and was like wow. It's cool..I wasn't trying to hate on you or anything. It's good to see some mustangs actually making turns. But eh, I myself love going straight. So to each their own! Good luck!

Oh I know, I'm just a technical person:)
I am hoping that when my car is "complete" that I will be trapping high 12 second quater miles times and running fast lap times on a road course. Currently I am mid 13's.
