I was reading the results of the Acropolis Rally in AutoWeek and a Nissan came in 34th (out of 35.) Does anybody know what model it is?

BTW, Colin McRae won with the Ford Focus.

Im going to make a very educated guess and say an old GTi-R Pulsar. They were developed by Nissan in the UK and competed for a limited time in the UK national rally series with some success. They were also very popular in Japan as rally and club racers, think 200+hp 4WD in a little 3dr Pulsar body, thier also very popular over here now as used Imports.

T4.....You weren't anywhere near that car that rolled or the ones that kept going over the bank ???

BTW....What the hell was that guy doing in the middle of the road when it rolled ??

I was just reading in our local paper how they had trouble with some of the crowd throwing stones/rocks at the cars.

I think it was Bruce Herbert saying some wanker throwed a rock though there intercooler, which really slowed him down for a complete stage.

No I wasn't anywhere near that rollover - different day I think. When I was out there on Day 1 they were all jockeying for field position coz the gravel was so deep so they weren't pushing too hard.
That spectator was actually standing on top of a strainer post like a goat (which they then jumped off) so it only looked like they were standing in the road.
There was nothing like rock chucking anywhere that I could see. If there was I think the rest of the crowd would've linched 'em. That's terrible to hear, I hope someone got the bastards on video and the cops get 'em.

Just re-read the paper....it was Geoff Argyle.
It was done on Saturdays longest stage.
