Hey guys, the other day i replaced my pcv filters along with 2 seperate hoses thats are connected to the pcv system-one that connects to the pcv albow, and another thats continues down under the intake.
They where badly aged..and cracked.. I bought hose that was 3/16 inside hole dimension. While this looked similair to the bad hoses, it was a bitch to fit on. Is it supposed to just slip on the connections..? OR be hard to put on-yet giving a TIGHT air tight seal..?
My only concern is that i got 3/16 instead of a 1/4 hose...and this system is being restricted......???? No problems so far.

I think you should be alright. Even if, somehow, it was too small and restricting it, enough would get through that the impact to your mileage would be very miniscule. I wouldn't worry about it. And yes, it is suppose to slip on somewhat easy.
