2nd Gen Hood Conversion?

So the other day i went to replace my spark plugs on my 86 CRX SI and the stupid hood latch was in the way and when i went to take it off the bolt heads snapped off and off popped the latch either way...So i set it back up, cleaned up and all. But then today I went to head home and, well....my hood flew up from my acceleration (racing computer, intake, catback, hotter this and that) and smacked my windshield and bent the entire front part of my hood over my roof and the hinge hit my sunroof while the snapped off part of its cable whiplashed my roof and s/roof a little....so I went lookin online for anyone that has stock hoods or even CF hoods for an 86 and nothing...hence why i'm wondering if i ditched my header panel and of course the hood, that if then i could just throw on a 2nd gen hood? or get a link to any kind off hood for it?
thanks
thanks

2G Civic/CRX hood will not fit without modification. It is several inches too short and a little too wide to directly bolt on.
Check your PM. I'm in WA and just happen to have an extra hood.

Go to redpepperracing.com and rearch for cf hood, Mr disibillity on the board makes 1 piece cf hoods for 84/87 crx's. Now he also makes standard hoods and zc hoods(have a bump to clear the valve cover, jdm piece) and 1 piece zc, all in CF.

The only drawback is that they're $300 and you have to get on a waiting list to get one. If someone needs a hood right NOW, they're SOL in getting a CF one. Other than that I've heard good things about them and wouldn't mind having one myself someday.

0.0 If only I had the time to wait :P but instead I need what I'm gettin from lxndr RIGHT now....found out today that my hood is only hangin on by (now 3) strong cables...aaand only one hinge...but, i'm sad about this, I can't get the bumper due to the fact that I got my price range for getting just the hood painted by a friend of my dads for $275-$300.................Sorry. But otherwise I'd get the bumper from ya' and the CF hood from that one guy ;)

I was thinking about that after I get my b18... I just hate the gap between the header panel and the hood...

I especially don't like it right now considering i really do have a gap :P and my header panel has a crack in it as well which does make the CF hood a better option, but not considering my circumstance.
