bad fuel injectors

im looking at a 240sx to buy right now, and when the engine is pushed there is a light clicking noise. the guy who is selling it says it needs new fuel injectors. is this a sign of bad fuel injectors, or could it be soething else? a quick reply would be much appreciated because i wanna pick it up tommorrow since he has other buyers.

fuel injectors on 240's are pretty loud I would say they are fine unless you feel the car stumble or idle rough

i would pull out each spark plug and see if any particular plug looks different. then its possible that cylinder's injector would be leaking or getting stuck.

so that clicking sound is normal? its only there during acceleration

I had a faint knocking coming from under the hood of my 240 and it turned out to be the timing chain. The mechanic said that it was fixing to break but it being so worn out was throwing off something else in the motor making that knocking noise. $700 repair bill.
