changed my engine oil about two wks ago... about a week or so later, my low oil light comes on every two days or so...ie., start car, low oil light stays on, go back home, leave again low oil light comes on briefly as normal and stays off. it's like that every two days are so... checked my oil pan, and oil filter, nothin's leaking, was wondering if it's some sort of electrical malfunction in the instrument panel, or is it something internal in the engine/engine bay that I don't know about..any clues

I'm having the same problem with my '01 Aurora. At almost every start
the 'Check oil level' light comes on. The oil level is fine. The mechanic said it is the sensor in the oil pan, and that he would replace it when the oil needs changed the next time (otherwise, you get oil all over). About $30.
