I have a question for anyone who knows information about installing a PCM for a 1998 Dodge Durango. The dealership wants an outragous amount of money to install a PCM. I know that I can get the part from Autozone and easily install it myself. Are there any potential complications with installing a PCM/Is there any reprograming involved that I may not be cable of?

disconnect the battery first thing then simply unplug the pcm and plug in the new one, remount it and reconnect the battery its fairly simple

After completing the above mentioned you will also have to take it back to the dealership to have the bios flashed with the VIN. and maybe enter some default codes. Should take about ten minutes. Call around though I found quotes from $50 to $95 guess where I went.
