i have heard from several of you guys out there of the benefits of corvette servos and shift kits. i have stumbled across a transmission tuner from granitelli that claims to have the same benefit as a shift kit with out having to do any work to your transmission and that it wont void the warranty.now is it just me or does this seam far fetched i find it hard to believe that a tuner could do the same as a shift kit. can anybody shed a little light on this for me please. I know a couple of you guys out there inparticular probly know the scoop on this.

Any kind of "tuner" for the transmission will just increase line pressure electronically. It will firm up the shifts some, but it won't have near the same effect as a shift kit or servos. I haven't done any research on that particular model, but being that its electronic, that's really all it could do for the tranny. Does it say anything about being able to adjust shift points?
The superchips tuner I had on the 4.8L firmed up the shifts by increasing the line pressure. Pretty much felt like it was in tow/haul when it came to shifting.
