Spuddering . . . please help . . .

2000 cavalier . . . drove it at lunc and waiting at stop light and then it turns green and the car started to sputter when I gave it gas. I let off the gas and tried to go again and it sputtered again then it started to drive normal.

Driving back from lunch everything was ok.


What can this be? ? ?

Perhaps a fuel injector was sticking, You may have sediment plugging up your fuel filter. I don't think it is anything serious. Good Luck

definite fuel or ignition problem. clogged fuel filter, like public said the injectors, loose plug wire, bad plugs, bad coil, somthing along those lines...

wouldn't hurt to try that. Get a can of seafom, and pour about 8 oz into your tank. THat should cure clogged injectors...

if you go with the fuel injector cleaner (which is a GOOD idea) dont get just fuel injector cleaner, get fuel system cleaner, it costs about 3 times as much but boy, its worth it

Have known about Koenigsegg for about 3-4 years! they pretty famous in England but the only people over here I know who have heard of them are my neighbour after he read on of my top gear magazines and a girl called Hilary in my J-Body club that is in her lates teens and it is her favourite car. The orange one above is one! I have an enlish car mag called EVO where they were tryting to get up to 245mph in one but it rained! They hit about 195 and spun as it was pouring with rain. They ended up snapping off part of the front spoiler! Christien Von Koenigsegg (founder and owner, has Alopecia) was ok wih this as it was all good publicity. But an English guy took one of the first CCs in the 2003 Gumball and broke the 'stack' gps speddometer at 250mph and got a ticket for 120mph after he hit the brakes and was coming down from 250! This wa on US public roads! He kept blowing the clutch because he raped the car all day long!
