I was just wondering if anybdy takes off their inspection sticker, or do you even have one outside of NJ. All the pics I see dont have the stickers. Is it legal to take off the sticker? I have a green sticker that really upsets the look of my civic. Just a question, thanks for responses.

um in NY it must be on the window at all times, unless its a registered track racer or show vehicle, but either way you cant drive those kinds of cars on the street. im sure NJ has the same laws, so juts keep it on there, plus its a hefty fine if you are pulled over and dont have one.

yep every time you get pulled over the cop will get some numbers off it

he is looking at your vehicle registration not your inspection sticker.

So what if I take it off and keep it in my car?

that could prolly work, but why even going through the hassle of being pulled over for it? is it really blocking that much of your view or the show quality of the car?

here in PA we have two stickers in my town, and no it is illegal to remove them. if the cops see you without them, you will get busted.
