Save the 81!!!

I have a friend with an 81 240 who is currently planning on sending the car to the boneyard! It has a problem with one or two of the fuel pumps, and he's going to ditch it. The car has little damage and/or rust, is 4sp manual, and runs like a top (when fueled correctly). Can anyone here save this ship from a fate it doesn't deserve?
