Greetings I hope everything is going well with this room, as a 300zx fan i love the beauty this car has. at this time since i am not situated enough to get a z yet one thing that makes me wonder about this car is the 4 seater one, i have noticed obviously that the tiny rear seat sits mostly 6 feet and under types of people. at times i would be going to a nissan junkyard i would also notice that the cars backside would have this plastic removed with a metal piece and a computer next to it. with that view what concerns me is if the 200sx/sentra rear seat (5 seater) has the measurments that can be retro fitted behind a 300zx that isnt wrecked. would the cars seat be tall for rear view? too wide to be squeezed into? hard to install etc. as a social person i think the 300zx 4 seater is a cool car people may complain about space but i just dont want my passengers to condemn the rear seats
Tell me what does the room think?
Thanks Again

The reason the back seat is so cramped is because its too close to the front seats. I know in my z31, the front seats actually touch the back seat when they're all the way back. Thats *0* leg room. I doubt swapping the back seat over with a 200sx seat is going to fix anything, its just going to give you a headache trying to get it to fit.
The rear seats are cramped but not that bad so long as the front seats aren't all the way back. Scientifically speaking, the passenger comfort in the back is inversely proportional to the leg length of the people sitting in the front.

that is a good way to put it...
the Z wasnt designed to haul people. if you want a people hauler tell them to curl up in the fetal position into the hatch or walk. like mikeman said, there is no leg room...im 5'10" and i have my seat almost all the way back to the backseat. not quite touching but its damn close. and i dont drive my Z with a gangster lean either (for some reason, i see these kids drive around in civics with their heads barely poking over the door panels )
