I want to get some coilovers for my 94ls, I don't have alot of $, but I don't want those cheap quality ones on ebay. I can't afford more than $600 shipped or maybe just a little more, with shocks. Is there any sites where I can find this?

you aren't going to find decent shocks and coilovers for 600 or less. it'll have to be either-or, instead of both. the ground control coilovers are good for the price, and i wouldn't go cheap on the shocks either eibach, tokico, or koni. they're all good and should all be less than 600

well u said u might be able to spend a little more than $600. Omnipower fully adjustable coilovers go for $650. They're really good for the price, i just bought some for myself. You can go to www.kteller.com to check out the omnipower coilovers.

i was looking into buying those. It's not a bad deal and Tokico does make one of the best shocks, but i dunno about their coilovers. I've never seen or heard of anyone having them on their integra, maybe that means something?

I have heard of a few people having those and they seem to like them. I have actually thought about getting them myself, still not sure if I want to put any more money into the teg right now though.

Ok, my friend was telling me about JIC coilovers. Do you guys know if those are better than Tein. I just came into a little more money and can spend up to $1000 on coilovers. Also will I need a camber kit with these coilovers. My friend said that with the JIC's you don't need it. Do you know if its true?

JIC's are good but last time i checked they are more then $1000. I dont understand why u wouldnt need a camber kit with those because your still going to lower the car and that will definately make you have negative camber and you will need to have the camber kit in order to do the alignment.

JIC makes excellent coilovers and they do make more of an entry level coilover, the FLT-A1 for around $900, check out www.horsepowerfreaks.com. Tein also makes the type ss for under a grand. Just look around you find something that is right for you.

Hey guys, I just installed my Tokico coilovers and Skunk2 camber kit this weekend. As I had never done this before it took me a little longer than expected. This is not a one man job.I ended up calling a friend for help. Well the job is complete and I couldn't be happier. The only thing left is the alignment. I plan on doing that on Tuesday.

how long did it take you to install them? its always going to take a while if its your first time. Also you want to do the alignment as soon as possible so try not to hold back on that. And post some pics up!

Well it took me about 8 hours cuz first of all i didn't know what I was doing, then I had to wait for a friend to come when i needed him. If my friend had been there from the begining it probably would have taken about 4 - 5 hours. I have an appointment for alignment tomorrow afternoon. One thing I noticed today was that there is a squeaking noise on the front end. Should I have greased anything before installation?

you shouldnt have to grease anything i dont think. I didnt grease anything when i installed mine. You sure the noise isnt from the tire rubbing? Maybe you didnt tighten something, or some kind of bolt is loose? if not i grease you may have to grease it. And wow 8 hours, thats long but its all good, im sure u can do it in about 3 hours next time

Well I went in for an alignment today. The guy told me I need an outer tie rod end replaced before I get the alignment. I just finished installing it and will get the alignment done tomorrow. The guy also told me he could tell the camber is off quite a bit and that could be causing the squeaking noise. well I guess I'll find out tomorrow. Oh yeah and I also just got laid off from my job. I don't have a job now but my car looks good

lol that sucks that you got laid off, but doesnt seem like you care as long as your car looks good ,haha thats nice.
The guy is probably right, the noise might be coming from your camber being very negative. When i lowered my car, (about 2.5") if u looked from the front of the car, u can see the tires were slanted a lot. My alignment was really bad. Some guy at this place tried to charge me $45 per side to align the rear, and thats on top of the 4wheel alignment price. He said that they charge that to install the shim kit, since i didnt buy rear camber kits. I told the guy im not gonna pay $90 for him to install little washers so i left. I got the alignment done somewhere else and they didnt charge me anything extra. I went ahead and got the lifetime plan, worth it in the long run.
