I came across the problem that i had to disconect the fuel lines while i was working on my engine. Now my Haynes maual says to get custom couplers to remove the springs, and to get new o rings. Is there another way i can take out the line, and do i have to replace the o rings?

1) What are you working on? 2) Your post is a bit confusing...have you, or have you not disconnected the fuel lines?

Yes, you need the tools to disconnect the lines. They're cheap and available readily. I've never replaced the o-rings for a one-time, first-time disconnect, but you should take a look at them to be sure they are not damaged. Also, be sure the fuel pressure is ZERO before you disconnect the lines.
