window tinting

i got a quote to do my 2door gp with a lifetime warranty against bubbles scratches, cracking,and fading (turning to purple) and it was $220.
is this steep. this guy has 16 years experience and has a web site www.sunfuntint.com with a few pics that look good. but they are far away. i was also wondering do you think it would look wierd if i didnt tint the back window? its only $110. im just wondering how close to the top of the window they can get with the antenna being on the glass.

That would be the window I would want done the most.It will save the upholstery/back seat and rear deck from sun rott,220 bucks isnt a bad deal,but I live in Wash state and they seem to be very expensive,when I called around and got mine done.

Also check with GM dealer. It's cheaper at the one down the street from me.
They wanted the same price. And they will be there tomorrow.

i think its a little steep. A guy around here quoted me $150 for my 4 door GT. Its guarenteed for life. He did my Blazer yrs ago and did an excellent job. I would shop around.

GM want (I think, been a while) $110.00 and I know they will be there to back their work.
But, it's just a thought.

Hey C_Olive18 I would go to Window Film Specialist. Theyre located in the business part of De Pere near Legends. $200 for a 2 door. Also he can make decals for you too. All you gotta do is draw up something. Im thinking about taking the checkerd flag from the Monte Carlo SS and putting it on my 2 door GTP. The site is

220 is about right for my area, and as far as it turning purple, dont wash your windows with anyting that has ammonia in it and you will be fine. i got it on my car and my lincoln. make sure you DO the back window too. they are pretty handy at getting the entire window.

where on okeefe road is it? my sister lives in the fountain park apartments and i think thats close but im not sure. at least then i would know where they are located LOTS of pictures on their website too

price was 229 + tax but they sound alot more professional. sun fun tint was only open 2 days a week. even though its more $ ill probably go with wfs. 35% all the way around sounds good even though 50% is limit on front passenger windows. i dont want it to dark because with a silver car its going to look really dark and attract too much attention from the cops. which isnt good because i am a firefighter and an ambulance driver so i see cops ALOT

gm has the warrenty? glass place here in hick ville nebraska said $145 for 20% all around, lifetime warrenty or could go darker in rear window for no extra charge. but i think 20 is legal limmit here.

I cant take my car to any GM Dealer and theyll tint my windows? I want 20% all the way around
