i checked out your page that you have in you sig and it says a mod is to remove your front sway bar how does this help in autocross
Putting mods on your car bumps you up the chain into more difficult and more competitive classes. Starting out in Stock is basically where most people start. You can do some mods: K&N drop in filter, cat-back exhaust, spark plugs, spark plug wires, brake pads, remove the front sway bar, and DOT racing tires.

Well you can remove it in any class except stock :)
But the front sway bar is added to prevent sway or rolling of the body. It does increase understeer which is safer from factory than oversteer. You don't want to give cars to the general public which has oversteer unless you buy a sports car like an RX7 or Corvette. Typically these types of people want a neutral or oversteering car :)
To counteract the large front sway bar on a FWD car add a larger rear bar.
