265's or 285's

I need to get new tires for my '99 Silverado Z71 Ex-Cab shortbox. It has 265/75/16 Goodyear AT/S on it now and I can't decide whether to stay with that size or go up one size to the 285's. I have the Ford torsion keys in front and am sitting about 1-1/2 to 2 inches higher in front and will soon put a Add-a-Leaf on the rear. I like the looks of the 285's, a friend has them on his 2K Chevy. But I don't know if it justifies the added cost (about $75-$100) extra. I mean they don't look THAT much different. I diffinitely don't want to go bigger than 285's as I want to keep the stock wheels. Just looking for some pro's and con's. Like better or worse MPG or wear or something.

I just changed to 285's. Little worse gas mileage (maybe 1/2 a mile to the gallon) but I love the full wheel well look. Fit my stock rims no problems and clear fine with front cranked level with rear.
