I was wondering if anyone knows if a cd player was available for this year. I have the cassette player with the equalizer currently and am trying to advoid needing to remove current stereo. Also is there a way to tell if the car has a keyless entry option. the person I bought the car from was the 2nd owner and said he was never given one. Any help would be appreciated.

My 91 has a stock CD player so the 93 probably had it as an option.

The cd player for these cars is kind of rare. I looked for 6 months before giving up and buying a universal cd changer, but if you look long enough you can find one.
To find out if your car has keyless entry you can look for the receiver. On a 2 door car it is on the passenger side next to the rear seat. Pull out the rear seat ash tray and reach up behind the trim panel. If you feel a small plastic box (the receiver) between the sheet metal and the trim, you have keyless entry. I don't know where they put the receiver on 4 door cars.
Another way to find out is to try the programming connector. In the trunk on the passenger side there is a connector coming out of the wiring harness. Ground this connector to the body of the car and you should hear the automatic locks cycle.

I forgot to mention, if you do find a cd player you may also have to change the radio tuner display to get it to work properly.
Since your cassette has the equalizer on it there are no bass and trebble buttons on the tuner display. If you do put in a cd player you will lose the equalizer (and that cool green display next to it :grinyes:) in place of just a bass and trebble button on the tuner display.
