I don't think so, They use a device to creative those effect
The car in the movie install a Spark plug to the exhaust to create the effect.

dunno if those are flamer kits or just no cat convertor, see the r33 skyline on their site, it doesnt actually use on of their kits... just no cat yet still they use the .gif on their site :p
