Thinking of parting out 1987 325 4 dr

I have an 87 325 that is dented and dinged up and needs work. I'm thinking of parting it out. Can anyone share experiences with doing this.
Engine and trans run good, high mileage, 4 dr sedan, all original including radio etc. I just found this site and any input would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know- there's been one on Ebay for a while that the guy is trying to part it out- doesnt look too successful. You should just sell it cheap and let someone else deal with the headaches. (just my opinion)

you need to go to different forum . . . they have a bunch of people that part bimmers out . .
