They adjust your PCM's, Fuel map and timing curve based on the result they get from the dyno on how much power your making and at what RPM's.

>_> So...they...make my car go faster.... Hmm..
Silly question, but how do I find a Dyno place that will do that? And what price range am I looking at for the whole deal? Should I do it right now or wait till after I get some new high performance plugs wires and CAI?

South Cali has tons of places just contact any performance shop in the yellow pages with a dyno. They do dyno tuning I am sure of it and as for cost. Shop around but you may be better off just getting a custom burn as the custom burns are based off dyno tuning and they take less time and generally are within a few horsepower of a dyno tune.

Custom burn just means upgrading the PCM more specifically rather then the general PCM power adders that they advertise on TV?

exactly
just hit up yellowpages.com and look up 'dynos' or 'speed shops' or something. the only one i got near me charges 75 bucks just to be on the dyno, then there is an hourly charge for anything past that...
