Skills USA VICA is tomorrow afternoon and i haven't even studied for it.. I haven't even gone over the 30 page study guide that was handed out, so now i'm gonna have to go into this test hoping that the knowledge i've acquired as an automotive student and at work will be enough to get in the top 10 in the area... :disappoin
I completely forgot about it until this morning when i was reminded by my dad/boss about taking time off work to go there. Now i'm probably gonna do shitty and be an embarrassment to my school, friends, and dad.

Thirty pages isn't alot to go over in a night. Just read that and study for whatever else you need to know all night and then maybe give it a quick glance tomorrow morning to revresh your memory and then go take your test. You should be alright. Just dont get distracted like I do and read internet forums instead of doing schoolwork.

30 Pages is a lot considering it's all technical information.... to top it off i lost the damn guide...so basically i'll just have to try and relax and hope that i know everything that's covered, and hope i know enough about Forced induction cause that's one thing they go in depth about on this test from what i hear.

I would read up on it all night on the internet.
I was gonna say the same thing as evil, but then you said you lost it. damn.
I once had to complete a english correspondence course in a week because I put it off so long. It was a 1300 page book with 11 tests and I did it in 5 days. (just felt it was a good time to brag about that)
anyways, don't sweat it. relax, eat some bread in the morning, and an apple, and get 8 hours of sleep, and you should do good. Let us know how it goes.

It's not until later tonight. I'll write about it if i'm not to pissed off afterwards, but it wouldn't be until like 10/11 at night.

While i'm at work doing nothing i might as well say how that test went last weekend. It was actually easier than i thought it would be, the first 5 questions were over turbo chargers, and the rest were your basic engine and electrical questions. Including starting and charging systems, fuel and ignition...pretty basic stuff, so hopefully i did good on it like i think i did. I hope i at least did better than those Ford ASSET retards that went to.
