2001 taurus and drive belt

I have old belt off and cannot figure out how to put new on. I see tension rollar but no bar to use on it.

How did you get the old belt off without releasing the tensioner?!

The tensioner has a bolt on the pully. It will take a 15mm wrench ( a socket will not fit, no room) You can piggyback two wrenches or get a serpentine belt removal tool from parts store. Pull toward the front of the car to releive the tensioner.
