You are familiar with that noise......normally goes off if the door's open w/key in ignition, headlights left on, etc. However, I'm experiencing the continuous ddddiiiinnnngggg over and over and over again WHILE I'M DRIVING! And no, I'm not driving with my doors open!!! lol I wish it were that simple. But here's the deal in all other functions the chime reacts as it should...until I begin to drive -sometimes instantly and others less than a minute into motion. Now, I've checked the manual and there's nothing in it regarding this. So I'm hoping someone can give some advice. Is it a fuse, shortage, wiring thing???? All else performs well, but I can't turn my music LOUD enough to kill that blasted dinging! But more importantly, can it be a sign of something serious gone wrong? Oyeeeeeeeeeee PLEASE forum help me!

It's possible that it is as simple as your trunk not being completely closed.

Have you buckled up?? I am sure that is what it is, especially if it happens while you are driving.

Mine does this on occasion.

Just push in on the key. Mine will do this at times after removing the keys, so I just push on the key slot on the column.
