Ztec Swap... Easy?

What would it take to put a Ztec engine and tranny in a SOHC 2002 4 Door SE Focus.. i was gonna do the whole V8 swap bc i have a 89 mustang fox body.... i was gonna do it custom not buy the damn conversion kit.. that costs too much... but i decided i cant do without a car that long and having to drive a 98 volkswagon beetle for the time my car is being worked on was not worth it... But anywayz... i can easily find a car that has a ztec in it.. like a totalled out car with it in there.... like escort or focus... or just the engine and tranny from some place.. i just wanna know if its too much work and money to do that... if it is i will say fuck it and go with RWD Turbo 5.0... stroked of course :)

its not worth it just turbo the spi, that y you only see 1 or 2 zetec escort sedans around

Okay... what kinda stuff do i need to do to this engine to make it worth a shit.. right now.. its slow... too slow...lol... its stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This engine has only 110 hp ... im wanting somewhere in the range of 220.. or so ... what can i do to get some more hp outta this engine i cant find shit for it....

For the SPI, you're going to be hard pressed to find many good, quality performance parts in America...your only real options are Zetec swap or turbo, unless you want to really get into looking for parts all over the place.

no hes not the escrot guys have been working SPI's for years, they are not hard to get over 200whp with a actuay rather cheap turbo set up as long as you use the right parts and tune it right.

im realy getting sick of Mustangmans know nothingness posts about the SPI if you dont know shit about a motor SHUT UP!! it will cost him money fro teh motor+ teh tranny+ all teh elictrical to ony gain 20hp OR spend 3k on a turbo and get about 170 crank w/ a nice hp/tq ratio.

CANT EVERYONE GET ALONG! lol.... well im gonna keep this engine... and do you have any site references that i can goto or something that i can find some shit for this engine... im looking to push this thing to its max... get as much hp as i can... how much hp can this thing put out at most.. whats the highest someone has got so far... i wanna atleast run 14s in this.. but i doubt that would happen... hell it might... im just so damn tired of ppl thinkin aw shit that car looks bad ass its probably fast.. but in fact its not! lol...
