You need a donor car cause you need basically everything from the V8 model.

Ok, basicly here is the quick and dirty, in order to swap to the 383, youre gonna need parts from a V8 equipped doner car. now, is your 383 made from an LT1 or a SBC? because that will decide if you can just use a doner car or if youre gonna have to do some fabrication. Also, is your 383 going to be computer controlled or carbed? After we know these bits of info we can help you further.
your drivetrain sounds good, except that the 5 speed, if its the same as the one used in the third gen camaros, will probly eat itself alive behind 450hp.

ok, heres the rub, while im not entirely sure about this, you may have to modify some engine mounts to put the sbc in the fourth gen camaro. Because you are running a carb, you can just run fuel and spark to the engine and be fine, which will require manufacture of some fuel lines to go to the carb, and the swich from the electronic fuel pump to a mechanical, or lower power in line electronic fuel pump. the factory fuel injection pumps run too much psi for carbs. Youll also have a helluva time trying to figure out how to circumlocute the PCM and still retain propor function of the remaining modules in the car without setting a perminant error code. Youll also have to put together your cooling system from scratch, the radiator will have to be an LT1 fit, but i think the hoses are reversed, so you might have to have the radiator modified to run with a standard cooling system setup. you shouldnt have any problems with exhaust, and your suspension should be fine. its 1:30 so i may have missed a few items, but i think thats a good cover of the situation.
