I am getting a paint job pretty soon here. If you have any color ideas post em (No yellows!) I want my car to be a sleeper so I don't want anything that looks like a ricer. I am just toying with my current color just refreshed (I've got some chippage) or a sparkley kinda black. Give input or photos if had on a non ricey cool cavy color.

As I said in a previous post "rice" is simply an opinion! What is rice to you may not be rice to someone else therefore when you say no "ricey" colors you may want to be a bit more specific!

well, any color will look great if you have a nice body kit, well done paint job in exterior and interior.

like the best cavalier I have seen is a red cavalier with red dash. Also grey with white dash..
I think you should painted the same color but get a body kit, shave your antena and get an internal one..

I don't want a body kit or any of that crap. Hence not making it flashy. I want to run 330 horse out of this car by the end of the summer. With that said I do not want people to know I have that or even know I have anything other than an exhaust when they see me. I want a sleeper cavalier. As for antenna, who needs em? I have a CD player.

nice point, i though you wanted the car just for looks. At least you should get performance rims, because with those hub cabs, you can have a bad accident with 330 whp

Yeah CRJ.... No. Well, if you pay for it then I suppose... But only if you pay for it... With that said, you can make the check out to.....

My instructor at vocational school has a Cobra Mustang with that paint, that car looks real nice. But it does draw attention to the car, because, it does. After all, my whole outlook on the car is All Go, No Show.

Paint because I don't want it to rust out. The pain is starting to chip.

I never did like that paint. I want to keep mine white and get it airbrushed. Maybe I should keep dreaming about it huh?

Best sleeper colours, Burgundy, Dark Green, V. Dark Blue. All blend in and look real good when shiny, all in metallic no-one will suspect a burgundy car to rip the a$$ out of there car. 330hp is pretty ambitious! Especially with the 2.2 OHV you have. That will need LOTS of money $8,000 up!!!

8,000 up for a hobby and a lot of fun. I think I can get that together. I have about 34k in the bank. (my grandparents are rich, and dead.) I just want to get it to 330 and put it up. run it every so often, it will start my tuner car collection.

Well for that kind of power without swapping out the 2.2 OHV that you have, then you'll need new forged pistons, comp ratio lowered to about 8.5:1. Forged I-Beam rods, s/steel or possibly brass valves, uprated valve springs, port and polish, turbo kit running something like a Garret T-28, you'll need a front mount intercooler, oil cooler, full exhaust the kturbo kit should have an exhaust manifold, a boost controller, you'll want a full guage package, You are going to be wanting about 20 psi boost for 330hp, you will have to have the crank nitrided for strength, you'd better keep a spare trans as you'll probably grenade it a few time with that kind of power. Something along those lines!

The ambition still stands!!! WOO! I don't think I will achieve it, but it is fun to think.
