Anyone ever used one of the cheap do it yourself powder coat systems? Harber Freight has one for like $70 the way powder coat works I don't see why it wouldn't work pretty good, know it wouldn't be great for commercial use but for individual use looks like it would work rather well. Anyone have any experiance with any of these cheaper powdercoat systems? The oven they sell is over priced and way to small to do much but you can use a home oven it just says that the taste will transfer over to food you cook in it but who cares I live in an APT so it's not my oven and I haven't cooked in it, in at least 4 months now and don't know when the next time I would is going to be so maybe this is just one more way to justify all the $$ I give them a month is to let me screw their oven :) Well any comments would be great thx

dont trust HF, i would buy an acual powder coat kit and save time and hassle. Alot of my friends used to powder coat paintball gun stuff in there house ovens and never experienced any after tastes in food though. Im not saying it wont, but ive never heard of that problem. Good luck with your choice!
