Yes, in parallel.
I picked up a 150amp off of ebay, you could go that route.

two things,
1) Use a single aftermarket alternator that puts out more AMP's.
2) Use capacitors in your sterio system.

no not in comp just like haveing loud system. lol. i have know idea what amprage im drawing. i dont have the hole system yet im waitting on the amps. but i would rather have more amps then not enough. I know i was running like 1000 Watts rms to each sub with the 200amp alt, and the cap. and the lights would dim untill i reved the engine up to like 2000 or 2500 rpms, and i know any more wattes and my light will dim at 2000 rpms. And how would i hook up two alt, like mount them i mean.

That is funny, I run 2 Boston Acoustic 12 subs, with 2 8s, 6 6 1/2 Boston Acoustic Pro Series 3 way compents, 5 JL Audio 300/2 amp with just a 120 amp alt, and no caps.
What is the battery you are running? How many CCA?
I don't like caps, I would prefer to run an additional battery in parallel. Caps are no good in my book, been in Electronics for almost 20 years.

i just wanted to know how to run 2 alt,
Ok, if you run another alt, that will give you another 150amps, but that is not until its at the higher rpms, at idle your looking around 80amps if even that. Another battery will give you another 800 amps. Caps just suck power form an already drained power system, sure it will hold a certain amount, put it will get depleted.
Running another alt, you are going to have to fabricate another bracket, and then find a belt that will fit. It would be a huge pain in the butt.
That is my advice.

i just wanted to know how to run 2 alt,
To run it, all you have to do is run it in parallel. Positive to Positve, from one alt to the other, or to the fire wall where its all connected. Running to the fire wall would be better, because of the increased current draw might be too much for one wire going back.
Does that make sense?

ok so the power wire on both of the alt go in the same place same with the ground. Or does the power wire on the one go to the power wire on the other one and same with the ground. and what about the wire that come from my engine do i not need those for the second alt.

Show some pics of what you got.
Both power wires get connected together, grounds go together. I have been running a single alt for so long, I cannot remember what the other wire is for, I'll get back with you on that.
Are you sure the alt that you have is good? I't sounds like it may have some bad diodes. An alt normally has 3 sections that produce a charge, 2/3 can go bad, and it will still work, but it will only produce 1/3 of the current. So it will look like its working, but it really is not full functional.
To check your alt, get a multimeter, turn the car on with all the accessories(radio, heart, de-froster, lights, etc) at a fast idle. Check the voltage across the battery, it should read 14v or a little more, if not your alt is not up to snuff.
