wouldn't it be so much easier to do an oil change or a tire rotation?

do you have any info on this?

as far as i know, its an air jack system. four rams fitted to each corner with an inlet valve on the back to boost in the air which lifts the car. Its certainly not gonna be cheap, cos nothing the BTCC uses is normally.

I wouldn't be able to get under that car w/ an air jack system like that. It would be to risky & tempting..

I learnt it from watching the tele, the live BTCC racing that uased to be on, they explain certain aspects just to kill time before a race, and that was one of them.

Yeah thats pretty phat. I've seen them on Indy cars but not on BTCC. I can't make out the headlight on the Primera...is that a blinder where the turn signal would be or an air intake?

I have seen it and tried it here in DK on our DTC cars!
It is just as P11GT says it is an air jack system with four air jacks and one inlet valve.
They are mountet on the inside of the chassis and will not look nice on an ordinary street car! :)
"G"-sus> It looks like tape/blinder - I haven't seen intake up there on any G's yet! Only Skylines.
P11GT/ty423> Do you still use P11 in UK!? - Here in DK it is still P11's but we were told to rebould the exterior to the new P11-144!?

so i'm guessing since btcc front bumpers are basically touching the ground (i know the aerodynamic reasons for their design) my question is "is their suspension setup rock hard or something?
it must have absolutely no travel...
its like almost impossible to find links online on bttc sr20 engines and the way they p[ut the cars together .
is there anywhere that goes into detail on the overall specs of the primera/nissan cars bttcc racing specs
for example i would of never saw that air jaack if we didnt post it here and now i'm intrigued!

the front suspension has traveling somewhere between 1-2cm = 0,39-0,79 inches.
and the rear suspension has a bit more traveling or else it will spin when he goes into a corner! :)
The reason that you can't find any links, I think is because almost no other parts than the engine block is SR20DE everything else have been changed into other parts! :)
If you have more questions then try to write Carl Rosenblad at this page! He knows a lot and have won the STCC in 1999 and the manufacture in 2000 for Nissan
