Techtom MDM-100??? Anyone have one?

I have a question for you guys...a friend of mine has a techtom mdm-100 on his maxima and this thing is awesome...for those of you who don't know what it is...check here (http://www.technosquareinc.com/techtom.htm)...well I tried my friends in my car...(just plug right into consult terminal) but it didn't work....I contacted techtom and they said that my year car could have a different consult terminal and that there is a way to adjust the mdm-100 to work....They told me to come by one day to test it out and I think I will be going up there to see if they can get it to work....I am going to ask about a group buy on this...what I want to know is if any of you guys are interested...The retail price I believe is $495...
